I love this product.
If you like your coffee really strong, just add a tablespoon to your brewed coffee to really kick it up.
If you love iced coffee, it's so easy.
It keeps a long time in the refrigerator once opened, too, so no rush to use it up.
If you like your iced cold brew coffee unsweetened, this isn't what you want. This concentrate alone with just ice and milk is sour&bitter HOWEVER! With a flavoured sweetner/syrup, it is really delicious.
The beverage recipes on the bottle indicate using flavoured sweetners/syrup, so I would consider this to be great 'when used as directed'.
I imagine it could be a great addition into baked goods as well.
In short, it's closer to Starbucks espresso, than a Starbucks cold brew coffee.
This is truly one of the nastiest things I've ever tasted. My hubby also tasted it and agrees. It must be the preservatives or whatever is in it besides coffee. I had to throw it away and I almost NEVER do that!
Excellent! Rich, thick consistency and tastes like quality European chocolate. Maltitol is a major ingredient, which made me cautious because it doesn't agree with me, but a small quantity of this sauce goes a long way. Tastes like a real chocolate syrup, slightly thicker (better) than Hershey's Syrup. I drizzled a little bit on Breyer's low-carb ice cream and it was Heaven! Will be buying this again.
I have tried a number of chocolate flavorings and IMHO, this is the best out there. It's thick and much more the consistency of a chocolate syrup. There is no mistaking that it's a sugar free product, but for those of us who chose to eliminate sugar where we can, this is as good as it gets.I enjoy it in my coffee and to decorate low carb cakes and cupcakes for a touch of chocolate flavor. I think the key is to not get too heavy handed with any of these products. I have bought this product before and had a problem with it leaking when storing it upside down as shown. Don't know if they have corrected that problem and don't really want to find out the hard way, so this is just a word of caution about the packaging.

This is, hands down, some of the best dark chocolate I have ever tasted, sugar free or not, period. Smooth, rich and thick. Perfect in coffee or mixed into yogurt or, my fave, dark chocolate dipped strawberries. I don't know how they do it - this is simply amazing! It is a bit pricey, but a little goes a very long way.

The Monin syrups are far better than the other brands. They are nice and thick. I am writing this review about the strawberry and caramel! They are so thick and delicious. I use them for pancakes, tea, yogurt, ice cream, smoothies, puddings. The only flavor that was a bit week was the hazelnut. Love them, try them you wont be disappointed. The chocolate is so good too.
Love the dark chocolate sauce, it's rich tasting and the sweetness is just right. The squeeze bottle is great for putting a drizzle of chocolate on ice cream or desserts, just right to drizzle a bit over whipped cream topped mocha coffee - yum!
Best Berry Flavoured syrup I have tried! Can't believe how good it is! NO weird aftertaste. It's very smooth and smells lovely!! It's a little bit thicker than DaVinci Blue Berry Syrup. Definitely 5 stars!!

Almost all of these are positively delicious and do not taste AT ALL sugar free. The Chocolate is no better than any other brand, but Vanilla, Irish Cream and Caramel are amazingly good. Well worth the $2 difference. Note that some of them have lemon juice or citric acid for tartness, that will curdle half-n-half, so read labels if you're planning italian sodas. Strawberry seems to work fine.

I love Monin! I wish they had more flavors - apple, specifically. Their Blackberry is very nice, I use it in my morning hot cereal (1 beaten egg, 3/8 C flax meal, 1/4 C almond meal and 1/4 C Blackberry syrup - all mixed together), then I throw on top 4 or 5 frozen strawberries and microwave for 3 minutes, I only cook it about 75% through, else it won't be mushy like oatmeal. I break it up with a spoon, drizzle it with cream to taste, then sprinkle it with 1 packet of sweetener (I use Truvia because I like the granules, tastes and feels like real sugar on top.) Tastes just like flavored oatmeal - and it fills me up all morning. I tried it with Banana flavor of the other brand, but not as good. Also, I LOVE the SF Monin Caramel - I make a killer flan with it, where I don't miss out on the "caramelized sugar" flavor at all. Love this stuff - I'm stocking up for the winter.
These are EXCELLENT syrups!!! I have tried the chocolate and the raspberry so far, and plan to get them all. Wow! They are slightly thicker than DaVinci, and taste clean and rich, no aftertaste. I love to make Italian Soda's with them: fill a 16 oz cup about 3/4 full of ice...cover ice with seltzer water...stir in about 2 Tablespoons of cream and about 4 Tablespoons (or to taste) of syrup...I made a chocolate cream soda this way, and a raspberry cream soda. Both are delicious!! The O'Free syrups are more expensive, but the bottle is slightly larger than DaVinci...I got mine when Netrition had them on sale, and was glad I tried them. :-)
From a function standpoint, this pump works well. However - and it is a biggie - literally. This pump is huge! In order to store the bottle with the pump, you need far more height clearance than you would have in a conventional cabinet.
I really like these. I have tried the caramel, hazelnut, and vanilla in my coffee. Right now I have about 4 bottles of each in my cabinet to stay stocked! I use them every morning. The vanilla also makes good low carb Cream sodas... Just a little Monin zero Cal natural vanilla, club soda, and some half & half or heavy cream. I love that they are naturally sweetened, as I avoid sugar but also artificial sweeteners such as sucralose, acesulfame, aspartame, etc. They are plenty sweet, I don't need to add additional sweetener. I will definitely continue to order!! Netrition also has the best prices I've found... They are cheaper than Amazon and even cheaper than the manufacturer's website.
I tried the chocolate flavoring with erythritol and sucralose. There are two versions, and I bought both but have not tasted the other version with Stevia yet. I will review the other once I finish this one. I add it to my chocolate “Mousse” I create with Walden Farms chocolate peanut sauce and spread.
Compared to Torani dark chocolate or Da Vinci, I would say this flavoring tastes more like chemicals than chocolate when used alone. I have tried no other Monin chocolates to see if this one is typical. But I did not care for it.
